Adrenal Support Smoothie

Feeling tired for no reason? Stressed and run down? Have trouble getting up in the morning, or require caffeine, sugary or salty snack to keep going? You might suffer from adrenal fatigue! Making some simple lifestyle changes will help you on the road to becoming adrenal fatigue-free. Consuming the proper foods, learning to breathe properly and reduce stress all help the adrenals repair themselves.

This smoothie contains ingredients that are known to help support our adrenal glands. Adaptogenic ingredients such as siberian ginseng and ginger increase the ability of an organism (humans, other mammals, etc.) overcome the stress of environmental factors like stress, pollution, disease and toxins. They essentially help the body adapt to stress and deal with it more efficiently.

Ginseng has been used for centuries to heal, nourish, strengthen and stimulate the adrenal glands. Ginseng helps boost energy levels, fights stress and increases our mental alertness. Ginger is great for normalizing our adrenal hormone levels too! Greens have plenty of vitamins and minerals like vitamin K which regulate the production of hormones in the nervous system to help us sleep better and to improve the body's response to stress and physical activity. In addition, bananas and dates are loaded with potassium, magnesium and B vitamins all of which promote an overall sense of calmness and aid in the production of serotonin and melatonin. These two brain chemicals promote muscle relaxation and stress relief!

If you want an amazing blender, I highly suggest you purchase a vitamix! It makes the smoothest, most creamiest smoothies, raw soups and sauces I have ever experienced! If you purchase a vitamix through Live Love Fruit, you will get FREE shipping and handling! Click HERE to purchase.

  1. Hi. I was wondering where can you actually find siberian ginseng, thai coconut water, medjool dates, and raw ginger powder in america? A heath store or a fresh food market?

    1. You should be able to find it all between Whole Foods & Asian food stores! Or any other health food store!

  2. If your adrenals are comprimised- is this the only drink to help repair or are there other smoothies???? I have a vitamix and need to repair my health-

    1. Hi Becky,

Check out my article on how to heal adrenal fatigue naturally:

  3. This sounds absolutely fantastic, Anita! I have long been a fan of Carnation Instant Breakfast. It tastes great and actually has some nutrition. My fave was always the Chocolate Malt, which I can't find anymore. But now, I just want this smoothie!

  4. I'm not big on trends either so I usually try to avoid them. But I would definitely try this smoothie! It sounds amazing and sweet and creamy.
